A Verizon Wireless online pre-sales specialist has joined the chat. You are now chatting with chelsea. chelsea: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service. May I help you with your order today? You: I am interested in the international BlackBerry and am looking for detailed information for rates on data and voice when making calls from different countries in Asia. chelsea: Please hold on while I check that information. chelsea: Unfortunately you will not be able to use the phone in Asia. chelsea: I do apologize. You: Hmm. OK. Actually [I] am nearly certain the international BlackBerry can be used everywhere but Japan. chelsea: I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you. chelsea: I will be right with you. chelsea: I just tried to look for Asia in the countries list, and it was unavailable. You: Yeah. Asia is more of a continent than a country (like Europe—not a country, France—a country). I'll stop by a store I guess and try to figure it out. chelsea: Ok. chelsea: Thank you for visiting Verizon Wireless, I look forward to speaking with you again. Have a great day! Your chat session has been ended by your Verizon Wireless online agent. |

My brother's baby was born today at 12:23 pm. I went out to see her. It is the first time I have seen a baby within hours of birth. She is so pretty, and little, although I must add that she is 23 inches long, with very very long fingers and feet so big that they didn't fit in the booties my brother bought months ago. It's really amazing to see one so young already reacting to her surroundings. It's really amazing to see my younger brother a dad for the first time. God is really amazing. |

I was, until tonight. I was watching this show that was supposed to be about cults. They talk about some cult where the dude said he was Christ reincarnated. Then they talked about Jim Jones (you know, the poisoned kool aid guy) having confession time in his meetings so that he could initiate public beatings. Then they talk about some current guy who raped and imprisoned children as part of his cult rituals or something. and then they, in this manner where they were obviously drawing comparisons to all of the cult leaders, introduced Jesus as one of those cult leaders. talk about offensive. |

i received an email that very much looked like it was from my bank, saying that i would be receiving a new atm/check card in the mail and that i needed to verify some information. when i read it, i thought, forget that. if its real, they can get it from me another way! then i deleted it. today, i logged onto my bank account sight, and this was on the home page:

poly-cystic ovarian syndrome and kidney stones, all at the same time. ain't it great! i was in the hospital tuesday. i didn't know what was going on. i am finally getting some answers. thank God for a doctor who is thorough, smart, and who cares. It really is an answer to prayer. turns out that this may also be the cause of my hypoglycemia, which is probably really hyperinsulinism (same symptoms, different cause). maybe my health will start turning around now. |

my dear brother, i heard of your recent LJ confession and i fear that you are moving from darkness to greater darkness. I feel it is only my obligation to intervene your path to boy-band hell and introduce to you TOOTH N NAIL and/or SOLID STATE RECORDS. It is for your own good that i do this and know that it is in love your sister andi |

| first official paper |
[Jun. 27th, 2006|12:11 am] |
so, i just finished my first official paper (for sci fi and fantasy) since beeing back to school. it was 9 minutes late for the grace period cut off. if my prof deosn't accept it because of that, i think i will cry. but that is just the beginning to a crazy week. now that i've been doing homework for most of the day, i have to do my spanish homework, and how i wish i were grasping that language more. after that, i have to do my rading for my other lit class weekly discussion, and then i have to post to our group project, which i am supposed to be heading up and posting first on, and then i have to do another book analysis for my sci-fi class, and when is the second exam for that class? in the mean time, i also have to get my hair done, buy a gift for my brother's wedding, get the oil changed, finda good insurance quote, and pack for north carolina (here i come!) oi moi! what am i doing on LJ? see ya |
